We're catching snook in Texas this week y'all!! Have you ever seen snook being caught in Texas, on TV? I haven't, and we're super excited to bring you this week's episode from South Padre Island, TX with DOA Pro, Capt. Brian Barrera .

When I got the call from Capt. Mark Nichols telling me he was out in Texas for a few weeks in December and to get out there, he knows somebody who can put me on snook. I thought he was crazy! BUT, when Mark Nichols calls ya and tells you to come fishing . . . you go. We fished with Mark first part of the week, and then he put us with one of his DOA Texas Pros, Capt. Just got back from a small Air Force reunion out in Oklahoma. Did a little fishing out there too, but these were definitely NOT snook. We were hooking paddlefish. It was still a little too chilly out there for this Florida kid . . . happy to be back home.
