The stars aligned and the day both Capt. Scott Lum and I have been waiting for finally arrived!! Capt. Scott is a childhood buddy of mine, grew up together on the Space Coast, and we've both experienced the giant Manta Ray "invasion" before, but never with the camera crew on board. The reason we get so excited to see these rays is because of who's traveling along with them . . . Co - Co - Co - Cobia!!!

These creatures are incredible. They were huge and plentiful. I felt like I was smack in the middle of an episode of "Blue Planet" and listening to Sir David Attenborough narrate the scene. Ha! Check out this week's episode, "Devil's Cobia" on Fox Sports Sun at 9 a.m. on Friday, June 28th (replays listed on AF Website).

WHAT'S GOING ON

We've got ICAST coming up in just a couple of weeks (July 9th - 12th). It's the world's


largest sportfishing trade show, and the premier showcase for the latest innovations in the Fishing Industry. We'll be picking this year's winner of the "Fish with the Mogan Man Contest" on Wednesday, July 10th from the tradeshow floor, and we'll let you know who this year's lucky winner is. As for last year's winner . . . we finally get to go fishing together!! I'll be taking Jil Martin and her husband out on my boat the week following ICAST. I'm super excited and I know she is too.
